Hello Everyone!! Today’s post will be quick because my family and I just came in from dinner and I’m exhausted. But I just wanted to share this outfit with you guys because I put it together real quick and at the last minute and I absolutely love it. It seems that when I don’t put as much thought into my outfit that’s when I come up with the best looks because it was effortless #neverfails!!! The thing that I love the most about this outfit in particular is the striped skirt. I purchased this skirt a few weeks ago from Sear’s Online for $9.67 on sale and I think I’m going to go and grab this other color here as well. I love the stripes in the skirt and lately I have been into stripes although they say curvy women shouldn’t wear them, I definitely don’t agree. That doesn’t apply to me because I have plenty of stripes in my wardrobe…that’s a rule I have continued to break and in my book it’s non applicable..haaa!!! This skirt is a bit to big. I should have got it a size smaller, but maybe it will shrink a little when I wash it (of course it won’t b/c I want it to). Since the skirt has stretch in it I recommend you going down a size if you decide to purchase. I hope you guys enjoy this look as much as I do and I just can’t wait to see how many different looks I can create out of this skirt. When I purchased this skirt I thought about all the possible ways I could wear it thanks to seeing my blogger buddy Reiko from God’s Favorite rocking several looks with her striped skirt that she purchased from Target. I just love how creative she was and all the different looks she came up with. Make sure you guys check her out!!
What I Wore:
Burnout Tee~Old Navy|Black Studded Vest~Forever 21+|Striped Skirt~Sears/Kmart|Black Booties~Rachel Roy(also seen here and here)|Necklace~Ny&Co|Watch~Gifted (Hubby)|Feather Earrings H&M
Love this picture because the wind was blowing and it kind of caught me off guard but the picture still came out okay with the exception of my vest being flipped over lol
I just love these Suede Rachel Roy Booties although they look a bit like elf shoes at times…haaaa I still love them!!
BTW I purchased a new camera, a Canon and I took these photos of myself and I love all of the things I can do with my new camera..I will be posting about it soon and so far I’m loving my new camera. I hope you guys enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
Are you a fan of stripes??

Nice stripes! I can never get them right.
that outfit looks great! LOVE the skirt! i am a big fan of stripes but only have one shirt with stripes so far.
I COMPLETELY AGREE! When I put a lot of thought into an outfit I look at pics of from that day/night and end up saying to myself: “what was I thinking?!?!” Yet when I am in a time crunch and throw something together I end up loving it! Go figure?!? lol I am loving that skirt, I may need to add that to my closet 😉
Awww thank you for the shout out! When I tell you I love my striped skirt…believe it! I’ve been searching for a back up skirt just like it for safe keeping and it doesn’t exist anymore! I was trying to retire it but you’ve got me thinking I need to wear it again!
You look great! Have fun with it! (P.S. I got a size too small too…it did the trick!)
You killed it girl! I love anything striped and that vest is just too cute on you!

Nice look! I’ve always steered clear of stripes but I may have to give it a try now!
