In the beginning as a first time blogger..Topic for FBFF for this week and the questions are So far, what have been the 5 hardest blogging lessons you’ve learned during this process and have helped make you a better blogger as a result. I love this topic and can’t wait to read others because often times bloggers get so caught up in the mix of being well-known that they forget the real reason they initially started blogging or if they ever really had a real reason to start blogging.
The 5 Hardest Blogging Lessons Learned During This Whole Blogging Process
Don’t compare yourself to others-It’s important as bloggers to not sell yourself short and compare yourself to others. We each are different in our own little way and that’s what makes us unique. Don’t try to duplicate other bloggers. Just be you and you will be recognized for that. With that being said I do believe it’s great to be inspired by others and let that be the motivation you need to give you that extra boost to take your blog to a different level. I know for myself I have met so many other great fashion bloggers as well as other bloggers and they each have their own uniqueness, but it inspires me to take my own blog to the next level.
Develop great content-I know when I first started off blogging I felt the need to have a specific amount of traffic and readers and worked very hard at achieving that..YES it’s important to have readers so you don’t feel like you are talking to yourself when you post; however, it’s not as important. Content is the key to any successful blog. If you create great content then of course then the traffic will come. With great content you will attract traffic as well as readers and subscribers.
Networking with others and joining communities-As a first time blogger it has been great to network with other bloggers of course those that share the same niche b/c we can each relate to one another. We have each experienced some of same issues as bloggers and we can relate and help each other out. I mean in my opinion it’s like getting advice from the experts b/c we have each been down the same road and know what to expect. With networking we each promote one another whether it be via Twitter, Facebook or simply through your blog.
Have fun with your blog-Enjoy what your doing and don’t get caught up in the hype of what other bloggers are doing..I mean it’s the reason the most of us started blogging anyways. If you don’t enjoy what your doing it then becomes very boring. Don’t forget to let your personality shine through when your posting and not come off so serious. Yes of course there are moments for seriousness, but it’s also good to enjoy yourself in the process.
Share the love with others-We all love comments and it’s good to read what other people think about you and for me it makes me feel like something that I’m doing is right. What I normally do instead of replying to each and every comment on my blog, I return the favor and some of the people that comment on my own blog are some of my favorite bloggers and I return the favor and we build a relationship. Over the last few weeks I have been thankful enough to have met so many other great fashion bloggers through FBFF and I just can’t stop reading them all..they each inspire me in a different way and I ♥ each of them in a different way!!

Yes. Having fun and networking are super key. It looks like you are doing AWESOME since boot camp 🙂
I thought I was following you and then followed this post from twitter and realized I was not. I am now 😀
Love the outfit post, and grateful for all the tips for new bloggers. I am new-ish to blogging, but I am having a great time and I think I may have even inspired a person or two, I hope! I really feel like my blog has made me a happier, more confident, person – and it has also allowed me to begin to love myself and my body the way it is. I have finally rid myself of the assumption that only thin=pretty. I feel very liberated! Even if no one reads my blog, it has been so therapeutic for me, that it is all worth it! I wish you all luck with your blogging and I hope you stop by mine if you get a chance.

Fabulous outfit! And thank you for all the tips for new bloggers! I am new-ish to blogging and I am loving it. I think I may have inspired a person or two even – I hope! In any case, my blog has made me such a more confident, happy person. I am finally able to see that thin is not the only form of beauty, and I am finally able to give up the inner stuggle I’ve always had about my body. It’s so liberating! Even if no one reads my blog, it has been worth writing for the therapeutic aspects alone! I wish you all luck with your blogging, and I’d love for you to stop by mine if you get a chance http://www.curvycanadian.blogspot.com

All of those points are so great. For me it came down to am I going to take my blog serious or is it just a hobby? Once I realized I want it to be as amazing as possible I knew I had to put my all into it!!
