What I Wore: {Cobalt Blue & Polka Dots}

This is what I wore to the Elaine Turner Pink Party store opening on last Thursday in Alamo Heights (yes I’m late lol). I adore this outfit, but particularly the polka dot shorts. They were a steal…I found them on sale at Old Navy about 2 weeks ago for $6.99 and it was the last pair….and they were my size which means they were meant for me to buy ha! They fit very nice and comfortable with a nice stretch. My husband didn’t like this look at all. He told as he took my pics that the blue shirt was to much and that it didn’t go, but that’s because he likes to play it safe and me…NOT SO MUCH. I LIVE for color and for those who personally know me will say that it fits my personality. I feel like my outfits are hit or miss in my husbands eyes. He always thinks that I’m doing to much, but that’s what is so awesome about fashion. There is no right or wrong way….it’s whatever works for you which may not work for the next person, but that’s why it’s important to find your own sense of style. I thinks he prefers to play it safe. I always ask him what color wouldd he would have worn and more than half the time he says black and/or whatever color that matches what I’m wearing which is so predictable. My friend Tanvii told me that her hubby does the same thing and that when they don’t like it or when the men say “it doesn’t go” that actually means we nailed it which is a great piece of advice. I will definitely remember that in the future.
