What I Wore: {The Maxi}

I am in love with the fit of this maxi..it’s so comfortable and fits properly in all the right places. It’s just something about wearing a maxi that is so comfortable, but this dress in particular is the bomb.com. It’s very flowy and it’s one that I will be wearing over and over for the summer. It doesn’t matter if this dress is worn with flats or dress it up with heels either way works from me. This maxi also came from the lovely people over at Kiyonna; however, this dress in particular is out of stock, but there is one that’s similar, the Desert Rain Maxi Dress which is pretty close to the one that I’m wearing. I will admit I’m not usually into wearing long dresses much because they tend to be to long for me since I’m only 5’5, but I listened to my bff and took her advice because she said that I should give it a try and that the longer dress would make me look taller and slimmer and boy was she right, that it did. I will admit that this dress is a bit to long for me, but that’s an easy fix and I will have it hemmed, but other than that I have no complaints about this dress at all. It’s by far one of my favorite maxi’s that I own. I love the way the dress flows when I walk in it and not to mention the number of compliments I have received when I wore it.

I feel absolutely AH-MAZING when I wear this dress..it’s PERFECT! I have been eye-ing the Desert Rain Maxi in teal. After loving the feel and cut of this dress I just have to have one at least similar to it in another color…wouldn’t you agree lol.

I wore this maxi with none other than my Zigi Soho Wedge Booties that I purchased late last year or maybe it was early this year from DSW, and I wish I went I had chose to follow my first mind and get the black ones too, but I have so many other black wedges, that I decided not to, but these babies are very comfortable.
