    Date Night With Style

April 11, 2011 / Curvy Style, Date Night, Fashion, Headline, Outfit of the Day, Plus Size, Style, What I Wore

Recently my hubby and I were provided with the opportunity to have date nite courtesy of Cottonelle Ultra. Cottonelle believes that like a good relationship gone stale, toilet paper is the ultimate routine purchase-people often get into long-term relationships with one brand and never consider how things could be better. So this applies in a relationship as well and that’s why it’s important to keep things going in your marriage/relationship no matter how long you have been with that person. You just have to “SWITCH” things up.

The car we were picked up in

    What I Wore:
    Blazer~Sears
    Coral Tee~American Eagle
    Clutch~Nordstrom’s Rack
    Shoes~Shoe Dazzle
    Jeans~Torrid (Source of Wisdom)
    Assorted Bangles~Random
    Necklace & Earrings~H&M
    I absolutely ♥ this man!!

To shake things up, Cottonelle brand is launching the “Make the Ultra Switch” Sweepstakes and giving away 90 prizes in 90 days to encourage consumers to try something new in the bathroom: Cottonelle Ultra Double Roll, which is the thickest toilet paper in the aisle. Since our move to Texas in October we haven’t really had any time alone without the kids, so this was the perfect opportunity for us to get that time to rekindle and have some alone time without the kiddos. I planned a special evening for hubby and I. The day was so nicely planned out and we were even provided with a driver to pick us up for dinner and bring us home in an Executive Sedan..WHHHHAAAT :-)!! We felt like we was the isshh and no one could tell us differently lol. We just took the moment and went with it haaa. We had 5 star treatment and we took advantage of it all and had a blast. Our dinner was at the Chart House at the Tower of The America’s here in downtown San Antonio. A 750-foot-tall revolving restaurant with upscale eatery. The restaurant was very lovely and the food was DELISH.

The stuffed mushrooms was the bomb!!

After we ate we were able to go up to the Observation Deck to look at the lovely view of Alamo City. The wind was very strong, but it was just nice being able to share that time together with my hubby. Being that this date nite was sponsored we were able to completely enjoy ourselves and splurge a lot more than we normally would have lol and drank it up in style with Moet. The restaurant was very similar to the restaurant, Top of Waikiki where my husband re-proposed to me last year in Hawaii followed by our Vow Renewal. In fact almost the same with the exception of the beautiful view from the beach sunset in Waikiki. The view was nice this time, but just not the same of course. The food was much better this time around or maybe it was what we ordered in particular. Overall this was definitely a night of fun and I was just thankful for being able to have the opportunity to get some alone time with my hubby b/c we have been neglecting time to ourselves lately. It’s challenging when you are new to a place and not knowing anyone and you can’t just trust anyone with your kids, but this is all a part of the military lifestyle and as they say “it’s the life we signed up for” so with that being said we have to make so many sacrifices and do things much differently.

    In their words:
Now through May 1, switch to Cottonelle Ultra toilet paper and enter for a chance to win up to 90 daily prizes—each designed to inspire those little switches to help get you out of a relationship rut, whether it’s with a long-term partner or a bath tissue brand. Daily prizes include luxury bedding, couples massages, dance lessons for two, manicures for a year, a new digital camera and more. For the complete list of prizes and official sweepstakes rules, visit www.CottonelleUltraSwitch.com. “Cottonelle brand is challenging North America to make the Ultra Switch to the thickest bath tissue in the aisle,” said John Stanwood, Cottonelle senior brand manager.  “Cottonelle Ultra Double Roll toilet paper is 35 percent thicker than Quilted Northern Soft & Strong Double Roll toilet paper, and we’re confident that once people try it, they will realize what’s missing from their current toilet paper.”
The brand also teamed up with Patti Stanger, star of the hit television show “The Millionaire Matchmaker,” who will share expert tips on how little switches can make all the difference in people’s relationships and lives.  From surprising your spouse by cooking a favorite meal, to freshening up your look with a hair makeover or making sure your bathroom is well stocked with the unbeatable thickness of Cottonelle Ultra bath tissue (compared to Double Roll equivalent bath tissue)

I hope you guys enjoy the pics and remember it’s important to SWITCH things up sometimes. Also do go out and try Cottonelle Ultra because when I tell you that it’s the softest and thickest tissue ever it truly is..IT’S PERFECT!! I’m not just saying that, I truly mean it. They didn’t pay me to tell you guys anything in particular about the tissue so this is my honest opinion…ha!!!

How cool!! Congratulations! That’s a great gift to win! I’ve always wanted to go to the Tower of the America’s, but my budget is a little too narrow for that! LOL

Date nights are the best! I can totally relate because me and my hubby plan them when we are visiting family or when family visit us. Gone are the days of being spontaneous with the arrival of children. It looks like you both had tons of fun.
